Happy Sunday, loves! My favorite day of the week...meant for sleeping in and waking up to a cup of freshly brewed hot coffee, light leisurely reading and running those last minute weekend errands.
I've been one to seriously resist the athleisure trend for the past couple of months now, but these super comfy/chic pieces are really catching up to me. I've always been a heels kind of girl--it's just that #bossgirl mentality that comes with rocking a pair of killer heels. But of course, I can't say that they're always the most functional form of footwear...
And when it comes to a Sunday afternoon of grabbing some fresh blooms for the new week and grocery shopping, it's nice to throw on a pair of sneakers for a change and bundle up in a blanket scarf. Usually, you won't see me caught dead in sneakers (unless it's during a rare run through Central Park, haha). I've always thought of sneakers only for it's function, rather than fashion...but, I have to admit that this gorgeous pair of gray Nike's definitely made me do a double-take.
A hugeeee thank you to Six:02 for opening my eyes to all the potential of this unexplored form of footwear! Just another reminder to keep an open mind and not write anything off until you actually try it. Can't say that I'm going to abandon all the heels in my closet now...but they may have to move over and make some room for some new sneaker additions in the near future. ;)
