Valentine's Day Ready / / Rose Themed Beauty
Happy Valentine's Day, darlings! I thought it was only fitting to publish a post featuring some of my favorite rose-ingredient beauty products today, of all days! Find my Valentine's Day beauty routine below, complete with a step by step of how I'm prepping for a very special Galentine's Day with my best girlfriends (in LONDON)!
Valentine's / Galentine's Day Beauty Prep
For Your Face:
1. Cleanse skin with face wash of choice. I've been dying to try the Korres Wild Rose Exfoliating Cleanser (not pictured) for the longest time now!
2. Mask it up with the Origins Original Skin Retexturing Mask with Rose Clay. I love how refreshed my skin feels after this mask!
3. Tone skin with the fresh Rose Floral Toner (also not pictured, and also been meaning to try for the longest time!)
4. Moisturize with the Korres Wild Rose 24-Hour Moisturizing & Brightening Cream for all over hydration for the entire night!
5. Relax and pamper your skin with the Adorn Raw Essentials Pure Rose Quartz Massage Stone. This massage stone will really help revitalize and rejuvenate the skin.
6. Get those lips kissably soft with the French Girl Rose Lip Polish! I am absolutely obsessed with this stuff--this polish will exfoliate your dead skin cells and leave you prepped & primed for any lip color.
For Your Body & Hair:
1. Exfoliate skin with the Herbivore Botanicals Coco Rose Coconut Oil Body Polish. Treat yourself to the smoothest skin of your life.
2. Indulge in the French Girl Organics Limited Edition Lumière Body Oil in Rose Dorèe. Available only on their site, this body oil will help you achieve that rose-golden glow you've always wanted.
3. Finish off with the Adorn EDP Fragrance with Rose Quartz. I could not help myself when I saw this in stores! The fragrance has an actual rose quartz stone in the bottle!
4. For that last touch, use the Ouai Rose Hair & Body Oil to tame any pesky flyaways.

A Romantic Catskills Getaway / / Hasbrouck House Stone Ridge
Happy Friday, darlings! It feels so good to be getting back into that blogging game after over half. a. year. of not posting!! I can't believe it's been that long, but I wanted to start this year off strong by sharing an experience worth blogging about.
My 2018 New Year's resolution is to live more by traveling often, and I plan to fulfill that resolution by traveling at least once a month! So, for the month of January, we decided we would explore...the Catskills of upstate New York!
I did a LOT of research when it came to deciding exactly where to stay. In the end, Hasbrouck House had it alllll in terms of location, accommodation, and most importantly, charm. Located in the quiet town of Stone Ridge, Hasbrouck House serves as the perfect destination for an upstate getaway from the city, featuring 17 stunning guest rooms, a farm to table on site restaurant, and a great variety of indoor & outdoor activities to keep you entertained for your entire stay.
The Great Outdoors:
When it comes to getaways that involve "nature" of any kind, I prefer to go the "glamping" type of route. Give me a nice place to stay with a big fire pit & marshmallows and I'm good to go.
The Reception:
Did I mention that the reception had an unlimited stash of marshmallows for roasting over the fire pit on the grounds...as well as apple cider donuts & fresh coffee every morning?
Honestly, if it hadn't been for Richard, I would have just stayed in the suite the entire time. Who can pass up such a comfy set up, complete with a hand written welcome note and all the pillows anyone could ever need?
The Bathroom:
...of the suite was the epitome of pinterest-worthy bathroom goals. Don't forget to pack the bath salts for the soaking tub!
We had the pleasure of having both dinner and brunch at Butterfield. Both meals were absolutely DIVINE, although I will say that the scallop dish on the dinner menu (not pictured) definitely holds a special place in my heart.
The Club Room:
I think the hot air balloon wallpaper says it all. Cozying up to a roaring fire with a good read is exactly what the doctor ordered. Not to mention, Richard found his new favorite hobby as well. :P
A huge thank you to the Hasbrouck House team for such an incredible stay. For those of you looking for your perfect Catskills getaway, look no further! You will not be disappointed if you decide to give Hasbrouck House a visit! I know I will definitely be planning another trip back once the summer months come around.
