Urban Bohème

Happy Sunday, loves! It's getting chillier and chillier these days, as we move further and further into the weeks of October--but just last week the thermometer was still hitting mid 80s! So, I thought it was only fitting to do a little bohemian transition look, perfect for those of you who are still experiencing not so "fall-like" weather, but want to move out of that summer vibe!

Pairing together two of my favorite fall trends in this look--the paisley print and the suede skirt! To make this look more transitional, I wanted to style these trends with one of the most popular pieces of summer, the off-shoulder top! I usually like to mix a few different trends together, one from the previous season and one from the new season to really get that transitional vibe in a look. 

Can we pause and talk about this paisley scarf though?! I'm not usually the biggest fan of paisley...nor is my style usually boho--but I just couldn't say no when I found this printed scarf! Ugh, the tassel details at the edges, plus the soft texture of the piece made sure I didn't leave the store without it! Can't wait to style it with some other outerwear pieces once the weather gets colder! 

And of course, this suede skirt! I've actually been seeing a ton of suede everywhere for the season, from skirts to moto jackets, to full on jackets! Thinking of breaking out of my comfort zone and trying out a suede dress, but we'll see I guess. This center button enclosure design on the suede skirt has been super popular as well...I've seen several versions out now in multiple colors and in denim! I'll definitely be doing an autumn trends recap soon for you guys as well!
