Happy Friday, loves! WE MADE IT! It's finally the weekend! I don't know why, but this week just seemed to drag on foreverrrrrr. Maybe it's because I'm finally settled into the corporate routine and it's been a good month now, but I've noticed that the days certainly seem to pass slower than they did when I'd first started.
Another look from the "Working Girl" series for you guys today--styling this gorgeous suede trench coat! The springs here on the east coast tend to be on the chillier side, so I like to make sure that there are pieces in my wardrobe that cover those colder days.
Surprisingly, this trench is actually a lighter material than I'd expected for suede, but still pretty warm--which is amazing because it's absolutely perfect for those colder temps during the morning commute, but still wearble during the later hours of the day when it warms up. Working in New York, you'll go into the office in the morning and the weather will be one thing, and then when you get off of work in the evening, it'll do a complete 180 on you! It's so bipolar and you will hear everyone complaining about it, but it's just a fact of life, working in the city.
Pairing this suede trench with pleated joggers and a striped linen shirt for a more relaxed, but still corporate look! Adding just a splash of color with these cobalt kitten heels, cause even neutrals need some brightening up sometimes.
