Happy Tuesday, loves! Truly a working city girl now that commencement has come and gone! I couldn't be more excited (and nervous) to start this new era of post grad life in the city! First thing I did for myself after graduation? Invest in a bag worthy of adulthood.
I feel like it's almost a rite of passage, especially for someone working within the fashion industry. I've always been super indecisive when it came to taking that plunge and investing in such an expensive item. This investment is going to last a lifetime--so it's much more than just any old purchase...
It's the first item I can proudly say I got with my very own hard earned paycheck...a reminder that even though our dreams may seem so impossible and far away at a certain point in time, as long as we keep hustling for it, one day it is completely possible.
I never could've imagined how post-grad life would turn out from even just four years ago--I didn't even want the same things back then. But, I believe that who you're truly meant to be and what you're meant to do will be dictated by your passions and ultimately lead you to a place that was meant for you.
It felt so good (but also super scary) to finally press that confirm button online. It took me at least a month before deciding that it was finally time to stop dreaming and take action.
My one shopping philosophy: if it was meant to be, it will be. And after searching high and low for this particular 2jours size and color...the persistence paid off. This purchase will always be one that is close to my heart and it will forever be a reminder to hustle for your passions because you never know what is possible in the end.
