Anniversary Date: Top Of The Rock
Happy Tuesday, loves! It's day 2 of my first week as an official working girl in the city...but I'm still reminiscing about the past weekend with the most gorgeous view ever! My boyfriend and I decided to play tourist in our own city--well he entertained me cause he's already been to the Top Of The Rock, but I had never had a chance to visit.
So of course, we went up to the observation deck...and despite the rather cloudy day, the view was still breathtaking. There's just something about the city that is so aweinspiring. Maybe it's all the skyscrapers, maybe it's seeing the physical empire that mankind has built into literally, the stuff of dreams. Regardless, it was nice to share this moment, 70 stories above the streets of New York...where our love story all began.
After drinking in the view, we headed over for a low-key dinner at P.J. Clarke's...my reason for getting all dressed up in this stunning cocktail dress. I found it at such a steal at the outlets and have pretty much been finding any excuse to wear it out. Sometime's it's nice to have that special occasion where you get all dressed up...or in my case, just get dressed up for no reason anyway! ;D
