Happy Friday, loves! Officially welcoming September and the start of the fall season now that Labor Day has come and gone. It has been absolutely crazy the past month, with back-to-back planned vacation travels + coming back and hitting the ground running with NYFW! I'm still playing a little bit of catch up here, but super excited to start sharing my NYFW streetstyle, survival tips, must-haves and favorite shows!

Greeting this NYFW season with simple fall florals in this wrap dress design. I've been obsessed with wrap tops, dresses, skirts (you name it!) since last fall season and this dress is just absolutely perfect as a transition piece. It's still been crazy hot (& humid) in Manhattan, so the lightweight material paired with this rich burgundy color is exactly what I'm looking for to take me from summer to fall.

Happy Tuesday, loves! Truly a working city girl now that commencement has come and gone! I couldn't be more excited (and nervous) to start this new era of post grad life in the city! First thing I did for myself after graduation? Invest in a bag worthy of adulthood.

I feel like it's almost a rite of passage, especially for someone working within the fashion industry. I've always been super indecisive when it came to taking that plunge and investing in such an expensive item. This investment is going to last a lifetime--so it's much more than just any old purchase...

It's the first item I can proudly say I got with my very own hard earned paycheck...a reminder that even though our dreams may seem so impossible and far away at a certain point in time, as long as we keep hustling for it, one day it is completely possible.

I never could've imagined how post-grad life would turn out from even just four years ago--I didn't even want the same things back then. But, I believe that who you're truly meant to be and what you're meant to do will be dictated by your passions and ultimately lead you to a place that was meant for you.

It felt so good (but also super scary) to finally press that confirm button online. It took me at least a month before deciding that it was finally time to stop dreaming and take action.

My one shopping philosophy: if it was meant to be, it will be. And after searching high and low for this particular 2jours size and color...the persistence paid off. This purchase will always be one that is close to my heart and it will forever be a reminder to hustle for your passions because you never know what is possible in the end.

Happy Monday, loves! Interrupting the regularly scheduled "Working Girl" series with some autumn luxe inspo! Had the chance of previewing Ann Taylor's Fall 16' collection last week and I could not wait to share some of the pieces I saw!

An absolutely STUNNING collection--I was completely blown away by the presentation as well as each and every styled look. Really seeing the flare trend coming in strong this fall, not only in bottoms but in bell sleeves as well. Wide leg/flare pants dominated and I can't wait to be able to wear some of these pieces to work!

Head over heels for all the fall accessories, especially when it comes to scarves! Silk square neckscarves to colorblock fur stoles...my scarf collection is already pretty extensive, but you can bet I'll still be adding a few more to the mix this fall. >.<

Absolutely OBSESSED with the muted neutral color palette, mixing the usual navys and maroons with textured beiges and whites for an elevated chic feel. I'm not sure how I can wait another three months for this collection to officially debut...but I know what I'm going to be saving my paychecks for this summer.

Will definitely have to style another "Working Girl" series for the fall with all of these new pieces!
