A Study In Pink

Happy weekend, loves! I cannot believe how fast February is going by. Slowing creeping into month two now of this three month break from reality/going into full time blogging mode. February is definitely one of my favorite months of the year--birthday month + Valentine's/Galentine's Day?! So many festivities and so much love to share and go around, you'll find me living February in rose-tinted glasses!

Styling a "Galentine's" Day look this weekend--I know that usually, February 14th is meant for your special bae, but I think that your girl squad deserves major credit as well. I seriously do not know what I would do without the girlfriends in my life--they're your support group, your cheer squad, and most of all, partners in crime. They're the ones who save you from embarrassing fashion faux-pas, and will always tell you the truth, no matter how hard it is to hear.

Brunch and "Galentine's" is always a no brainer. I'm one of those people who will literally jump out of bed on a Sunday, no matter how early, for the promise of good brunch food. I love getting dressed in Sunday's best and heading out to meet the girls for lattes, croissants, and good conversation. In honor of Galentine's, I thought it would be fitting to add a bit of blush to the look. This coat has been one of my wardrobe staples this winter. Love the soft neutral color, and it pairs well with pretty much anything!

A huge fan of blush and grey tones at the moment. I love how classic and feminine the hues look together, making it the perfect combo to put together for a brunch date with the girls! I'm all about keeping to the classics these days, and a blush toned single breasted winter coat is certainly on that list!

Whenever I'm dressing for a fancier occasion, I always grab my go-to pumps. Staple pointed-toe heel with a standard 3.5-4in heel. I know that some of my friends think I'm crazy walking around the city in what they would deem "death traps," but there's just something so empowering to me about slipping on those power heels to take on the day. And to me, "Galentine's" Day is all about empowering each other and supporting one another to go for those dreams that seem just out of reach, knowing that there will always be someone cheering you on.

So, my lovely readers--Happy early "Galentine's" Day and I hope you're spending that day with your closest girls!

With Much Love,
