one belongs to it as much in five minutes as in five years."

Happy Wednesday, loves! A mid-week look for you guys today, featuring some stunning studded pieces I wore to NYFW last week! With such brutally cold weather during fashion week this season, all I wanted to do was bundle up and layer up. It can be a serious challenge to look fashionable for an event when all you want to do layer up in cashmere sweaters like there's no tomorrow. >.<
Whenever I'm struggling to put together a look for winter that is both fashionable and functional (so I won't freeze to death on the cobblestone), I always look for pieces with different textures and details.
This fully suede dress made for a pretty good windbreaker, especially since the material was pretty thick. Paired with a navy wool coat and I was set for the whole day! Really loving monochrome at the moment and I thought that the studded details on this dress made a great accent to the whole look. Couldn't help pairing the studded dress with a studded clutch as well! It's those little details that set a look apart, especially when styling a monochromatic outfit.
Hope you enjoyed this little studded number. More fashion week goodies to come, as well as a special little {birthday} post coming soon!
With Much Love,
