#NYFW: Fashion Palette Recap

Day 1 of NYFW and I couldn't have been more excited! This is the first time I've been able to attend NYFW as a blogger, and it has been an incredible experience. These collections I saw on day 1 was hosted by Fashion Palette, which brought together up-and-coming Australian womenswear designers and presented their SS16 collections! Check out my favorite looks, as well as full collections of my favorite designers below!

In love with these ruffles from the Bec & Bridge presentation, as well the laid-back casual luxe pieces of the whole collection! Creative designs with cut-out details, shimmering sheer embellishments and pops of red among the black & white. Catch a glimpse of the whole collection in the video below!

Sabo Luxe
Girly, draped, asymmetric--one of my favorite collections from the Fashion Palette runway show. Love how this designer plays with different silhouettes using draped fabric, creating minimal chic pieces. Neutral colors give the collection an elevated and casual chic vibe. Full collection in the video below!

Antonella Ianni
The classic black & white combo, reinvented! Loving the satin details in the lining and all these sleeveless blazer vests! This collection gives me #GirlBoss vibes, especially since each pieces looks very tuxedo-esque. That off-shoulder top & maxi dress combo though! Definitely stealing inspiration from that look for future events!
Possibly my favorite collection at Fashion Palette yet! The eyelash lace, pleated, draped and little embellished flower details were absolutely to-die for! Loving how the collection gives off a feminine feel, but is also very structured with clean cut lines. It's interesting that some of the pieces are asymmetric while others are in perfect symmetry. Definitely felt like these designs were inspired by the architecture of modern buildings. For the full collection, check out the video below!

Hope you enjoyed this little recap of day 1 presentations! I promise I'll be posting more of my adventures of NYFW soon! Happy styling fashionistas,
